What happened
The Belgian DPA (APD/GBA) held that disclosure of personal data cannot be a condition for an individual to access public information. The DPA therefore reprimanded the Federal Public Service of Finance for requiring citizens to use a Microsoft account to access the Fisconetplus portal of the Federal Public Service of Finance in order to complete their tax declaration.
