What happened
The Icelandic DPA held that a school infringed the parents of a student's Articles 12 and 15 GDPR rights for failing to provide them with emails they were entitled to receive and withholding data without adequate notice. However, it was found to be entitled to withhold emails with other parents as providing such data would adversely affect their rights and interests.
