What happened
After circulating a survery to parents regarding changes to learning and teaching in the COVID-19 pandemic, a pre-school was found to have violated Articles 5, 12 and 13 GDPR. The investigation discovered that it was not made clear whether returning the form was mandatory, and information specifying the legal basis for processing of personal data was not provided.
