What happened
The DPA fined a law firm €4,920 for violating transparency duties and unlawfully failing to fully comply with an access request submitted by a former client on behalf of herself and her minor daughter. In particular, the DPA considered the attorney-client privilege to be irrelevant since the client itself mad the access request.
